Below are details of UltraPDF's features.
- Viewing a *.updf document
UltraPdf must be installed in order to view a .updf document.
It may be obtained at no charge from www.ultrapdf.com. The
easiest way to view a .updf document is to double-click
on it. You can also open *.updf documents from UltraPDF.
- Creating an UltraPDF
document
Access UltraPDF from the Start menu. Select the "Create
UltraPDF document" tab. Add documents and group headers
to the document list. Specify the document information.
Create your UltraPDF file by clicking "Save UltraPdf (updf)
document."
Add Group:
This feature helps you to organize the documents
in your UltraPDF document by inserting a group header into
the document index.
Add Live URL:
This lets you add live web pages to your document.
The content of these pages is not stored in your UltraPDF
document. The UltraPDF document displays a live web page
when viewed.
Add File:
Helps you add HTML pages, PDF documents, and Macromedia Flash files into your presentation.
UltraPDF will store images and resources of HTML pages saved
with Microsoft Internet Explorer using the "Web Page, complete"
setting. Multiple file selection is supported.
Save List and Open List:
This feature lets you open and save file lists.
Automated Transitions:
You may choose whether you want the UltraPdf file
to display in slide show mode and specify the duration in
seconds each slide is displayed.
- Creating a Photo Album
Select the "Create Photo Album" tab. The Add Photo(s) button
functions similarly to the Add File button described above.
- Thumbnails
You may add thumbnails of images to the Photo Show index
frame.
- Background Music
You may specify an MP3 file to play when the presentation
opens. The MP3 is looped by default.
